BIG Kaiser Receives Partnership Award for Lean Manufacturing Training Center Support

BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling has been honored with the Partnership Award for its support of the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College's Lean Manufacturing Training Center.


BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling has been honored with the Partnership Award for its support of the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College's Lean Manufacturing Training Center.

The college's Advisory Council and Foundation Board of Trustees presented BIG Kaiser with the award in recognition of its Speroni Presetter software and equipment donation worth over $28,000.

Chris Kaiser, president of BIG Kaiser, comments, "By donating to the manufacturing training facility, we are contributing to the education and continuation of a skilled workforce. It is important that companies take some responsibility in ensuring the future of our industry."

"The development of our world-class Lean Manufacturing Training Center has been a joint effort not only between Williams International and the College but our generous donors as well," states Collette Mercier, Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College campus president. "We were very fortunate that BIG Kaiser donated the software and upgrades for the Speroni Tool Presetter because it will enable us to provide our students with the most up-to-date training on this very technical equipment. We very much appreciate BIG Kaiser's generosity and support of the machining trade."
