A new multiple conveyor stop gate from Bosch Rexroth simplifies the sourcing, installation, and set up of power-and-free conveyor stops used with Rexroth TS-style assembly conveyors. The VE2/MP stop gate combines the functionality of a VE2 stopgate with a pneumatic solenoid valve, an embedded microprocessor, three proximity sensors, and an array of LED indicators to provide effective operations control and feedback in a self-contained package. With the new VE 2/MP, everything is contained in one functional directwire device, eliminating tasks related to complex system control installation, sensor adjustment, and maintenance. The VE2/MP bolts quickly into the T-slot on the extruded aluminum conveyor profile followed by an air tube and two 3-wire M8 electrical cables to get the system up and running. By removing the need for many of the externally supplied components, Rexroth saves system integrators and end-users hours in stop gate installation.
